Honkai: Star Rail has got over 1000 achievements split into the following categories:

• Trailblazer
• The Rail Unto the Stars
• Eager for Battle
• Vestige of Luminflux
• Universe in a Nutshell
• Glory of the Unyielding
• Moment of Joy
• The Memories We Share
• Fathom the Unfathomable

Each category then has its own types of achievements:

• Story-related milestones: you earn those by progressing the main storyline (yellow quest);
• Battle-related trackers: when a certain number is achieved (i.e. Deal 40,000 DMG in one attack);
• Account-wide trackers: same as above but within your account (i.e. Obtain 20 characters);
• Exploration-related tasks: collecting all chests within a certain location, including special puzzle mini-games.
• Event-related tasks: these could be both time-gated and permanent missions (i.e. Complete Companion Mission “Only A Child”);
• Hidden achievements: could be any of the above.
